Dustin, a high school Principal from Texas, has one principle when mountain biking, GO FAST! We knocked out 24 miles and 2,480 feet of elevation in a 3 hour tour ( or what I like to call a Gilligan LOL) our ride started in Overend Mt park taking on Star Wars, Ella Vita, and Browns Ridge. We worked our way east climbing Lions Den, to the Rim to Powerline dropping into the Gulch. Up and over Telegraph finishing with the epic downhill combo of Yellowbrick Rd, Sidewinder, Cowboy, and Big Canyon. I’d have more pictures of Dustin but he was always right on my tail. Never giving me much time to set up the shot. All around a great day!
The 3 hour tour was epic. John selected the perfect mix of trail that we hammered. Lung searing climbs were rewarded with sweet downhill sections. The post-ride ska mexIcan logger and lunch at zia taqueria really hit the spot after burning some serious calories. Thanks John!
Wow, what a strong rider you are Dustin. I had such a good time. You made it a little difficult to get many pictures because you were right on my tail the whole time. I’m glad that you had a good time. I hope we can ride together again soon.
