I feel fortunate to live in an area surrounded by so many culturally rich historical sites. This weekend the entire family headed about 2 1/2 hrs south into New Mexico to camp, hike, and ride at Chaco Canyon. This place blew my mind with the amount of ancient ruins in such a concentrated area, as well as the sheer beauty of the landscape. Here are a few pictures from our first night.
