Mark and Julia made the long journey from Anchorage , Alaska to the southwest last week to visit family. While they were in the area they wanted to sample some of the best single track in the world. They started with some riding in Sedona, AZ, then finished with a 3 hour ride in Durango. When I got the call booking the tour, Mark said he was interested in the Town and Trails Tour since his wife Julia was not such an experienced rider. Well, once we began she impressed us all with her riding ability.  Julia went from a beginner, as we started, to an advanced intermediate  as I told her. We rode almost exclusively on the dirt, covering 14 miles and 1,314 feet of elevation.  Mark was a very confident rider with close to 20 years experience, but only really getting into mountain biking the last 2 years. One of Julia’s fears was riding narrow exposed single track, but she was able to face her fears and rode like a champ. The happy couple had  a blast and plan on coming back to Durango to ride again.IMG_1475 IMG_1476 IMG_1477 IMG_1478 IMG_1480 IMG_1481 IMG_1482 IMG_1483 IMG_1484 IMG_1485 IMG_1486 IMG_1493 IMG_1494 IMG_1495 IMG_1496 IMG_1497 IMG_1503 IMG_1505 IMG_1506 IMG_1508 IMG_1509 IMG_1511 IMG_1512 IMG_1515 IMG_1518 IMG_1519 IMG_1521 IMG_1522 IMG_1524 IMG_1526 IMG_1525 IMG_1528 IMG_1529 IMG_1532
