With Purgatory’s opening day this Saturday, the blog posts will soon be changing from mountain bike pics to snowboarding ones. That doesn’t mean I won’t be continuing to ride as long as I can. Had a great day riding at Sand Canyon and Phils World last week. 50 degrees and sunny, perfect weather for some fall riding at two of my favorite fall riding locations. The Sand Canyon Trail is part of the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument which contains a huge number of archaeological sites– more than 6000 recorded so far, and up to 100 per square mile in some places—representing Ancestral Puebloan and other Native American cultures. Then hit up Phil’s World on the way home.
