The town of Telluride, Colorado, located 2 hours from Durango derived its name from the send off given to many mining prospectors in the late 1800’s, “To-Hell-You-Ride.” Though the mining has long since been abandoned, the town these days is thriving more than ever in large part because of the world class ski resort. My son Kyle and I recently headed over for the day after a nice 14 inch night of snow. What epic fun!
