Katie and Chris made Durango one of the places to see on their recent trip. The young couple from Michigan drove west after completing another year at Michigan State. Chris just graduated from MSU, and will be starting grad school in the fall. The two are fairly new to mountain biking, but you would never have known it the way they were keeping up with me on our ride through Overend Mountain Park and Horse Gulch.
